One Sunday afternoon
I decided today that for once, I would have my leaves raked before my yard-obsessed neighbor did his, so for a few blessed hours, my yard looks better. The leaves are from my neighbor's tree, too.
I listened to a beginning Buddha book on my iPod while raking, and tried to get into the moment. Well, it sort of worked, really. I was left not wanting anything (or something like that).
